“Beautiful home. Great location to food and convenience store. Sauna, hot tub, ice baths, and views of West Canada River. Owner was very accomodating, professional, and checked in on us often. Wonderful place. We would love to stay there again.”

“The Lake House is terrific... casual, homey, and relaxing. The outside stairs could probably use some work, but over all the place is great. Early morning kayaking is wonderful. Close to Cooperstown and Glimmerglass. We had a very relaxing vacation. Thank you!”

“This place is very run down, or perhaps was never in good shape in the first place. The pictures on the website are not accurate. It presents itself as homey, maybe a bit quirky. But it just looks like someone hit up a bunch or garage sales and decorated it with random stuff no one wanted. The staff person who was there when we arrived was friendly and helpful. That was the last staff person we saw. When we left, no one was around. I will say that it was clean and the beds were……

“Check in was very quick, friendly, and efficient. The room was nicely appointed with a mini fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was super clean. The motel offers limited service during the stay, with towel service if desired and trash pick up. The lake front is a great feature. Parking is plentiful. And there is a game room and coffee station in the office.”

“Check in with Yevette was great with good communication . Easy drive to Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. Did find it was odd that they had a coffee pot but no coffee or cups. Also you were supposed to let shower run for two minutes to warm up. But after you got in the water got cold within 2 minutes.”

“A unique and historic building..our room had a wonderful view of the 'little' falls bordered by beautiful brick buildings harking back to the days of the woolen mills. staff was extremely helpful and kind with all of our questions and requests. very nice set up for their continental breakfast and made for easy conversation with other guests in their large and airy conference room that also is used for eating in the morning.”
